Stewkey, it was my pleasure (TLA Brotherly Love Show).

And may I add you sounded funkin' great!--michael tearson

My pleasure, you really rocked the house Tuesday night (TLA).  I heard some great things about your performance from the audience members.
Your friend and fan,

Stewkey:

Sorry I didn't get to talk to you last night at the TLA - it was a great show.  I had tingling up and down my spine when you launched into every song.  Really Great!

Thanks!

Dean Sciarra

Stewkey, I'm an old fan from the good old days. I was at the show last night (TLA). You were
great! The band was great, especially the guitarist. Your outfit was cool.
Loved it!

Jerry Gordon

Hello Stewkey,
Was out at the Brotherly Love show last
night, you guys rocked. This was my first time seeing
you and it was great. Little Steven sometimes plays
"Open My Eyes" on the Underground Garage.
I just thought of a question: The promo
film for "Open My Eyes" that gets shown on VH1
sometimes, where was it filmed? It looks like it could
be a national park or somewhere.
The entire show was just awesome last
night, I kind of thought of it as a modern day Phila
version of Monterey, what with the diversity of music
and short sets. Great thanks to George Manney.
             Thanks. Nick

HEY STEWKEY.  I AM NICK INDELICATO'S SISTER, TONI.  I SAW YOU SAT. NIGHT AT GRAPE ST. AND WAS BLOWN AWAY. YOU WERE FABULOUS. I BOUGHT YOUR NEW CD AND I LOVE IT!!!!!  KEEP ROCKIN" , WE LOVE YOU.....................................

My family caught the show at the Grape Street Pub. We are die hard Nazz fans and I just had to write and let you know you started a fever for us. The night was magical and we have been playing the Nazz cds ever since. Thanks for the great night of memorable music!                                    MaryAnne Mannix And Family

STEWKEY,

JUST WANTED TO DROP YOU A LINE TELLING YOU AGAIN HOW MUCH I ENJOYED SEEING YOU AT GRAPE STREET.   I HEARD YOU WERE SICK FOR AWHILE,  BUT YOU LOOKED TERRIFIC AND SOUNDED BETTER THAN EVER.  I HOPE TO MAKE IT TO THE CONCERT ON THE 24TH.  I LOOKED ON THE WEBSITE BUT DID NOT SEE INFO ON THE SHOW OR FOR TICKETS.  WHERE CAN I GET THEM?  IT WAS GOOD TO HEAR YOU AGAIN.  [ I BOUGHT YOUR CD  FROM YOU  AFTER THE SHOW -  I AM THE WOMAN THAT TOLD YOU  I WENT TO "THAT DUMP" JUST TO SEE YOU, WHICH WAS TRUE].      JAN                                              [BY THE WAY, HELLO IT'S ME -  WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS].

Stewkey,

I know you've heard this at least seven zillion times, but I am a huge Nazz fan. I stumbled across a recent radio interview with you on the web, and I was completely enthralled. Congratulations on your rejuvenated career. You sound terrific.

I'm a drummer, and Thom Mooney was (and continues to be) a tremendous influence on my playing. Is there any way to contact him?

Best of luck with your new band.

Tom Scheft

Stewkey,
If you're ever under the weather and need a stand in and you haven't found someone that has the passion and range that you sing with yet.... you have now.  I'd love to help you out anytime so just let me know.  I live in Jersey and I can sing you "just like" you sing you.
Just thought I would offer.  My only credits are that I've sung with John Entwistle, and I used to sing some back ups for Buzzy Linhardt back during his solo days.

All The Best,
John

Hey Stewkey!

I just asked a question about a Nazz gig in boston back in the late 60s and
it was forwarded to you! I was so surprised! I'm glad you are well and
bringing the Nazz back. I have been listening to those three albums for the
last 30+ years and they are still amoung my very favorites. "If that's the
way you feel" is one of my favorites from the first Nazz and I believe you
co-wrote that one, correct?

I can still see you playing your keyboard and sining at that gig at the Ark
so many years ago now! You were wearing an outfit very similar to the one in
the picture on the back of the Nazz Nazz album, if not the very one!

Thanks so much for the music you guys did back then. It meant so much to me
and still does! Hope you get to gig in Boston some time soon!

Thanks again and keep on rockin'!

Richard Farese

'm sure I bought the first Nazz album ever bought in Pensacola , Florida in 1968.  I figured you would be long gone by now.  Anyway, Hello and glad to know you're still alive.

Hi Stewkey.
My name is Mitch Fink, I am a friend of Ricky Wool, who
tells me he knows you pretty well. Ricky and I are friends
from school. He says he mentioned me to you; I used to play
in a band that did Nazz music.
Ricky told me you were touring and would let me know when
you'd be in town, but I guess he forgot or didn't know
himself that you were coming. Maybe after your tour is over
the three of us can get together and have some fun. Ricky
and I go way back and used to listen to Nazz all the time.
Anyway, it must be great playing that music again, I'm
happy for you and hope to meet you someday.

Thanks,  Mitch

Hey Brother,

Glad to see that you are back.

I have a good friend who plays the lead guitar licks to all the Nazz songs perfectly..and is dying to see you guys perform....(secretly he wants you to hire him)...

Either/Any way...

Please let me know when you are doing your next show...we want to be there!

Thanks

Andy Myers

Hi Stewkey!

Ive been a fan since 1967 (I think)
Stewkey its great to hear you're out touring again.  When will you be in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area again? It would be great to come and hear you're band. Keep on rocking Bro.,
                     Glenn Ruth. Mays Landing N.J.

I sent a message to the aol address but you might not have seen it ( or you might have and ignored it!!)  I just wanted to say that I'm a Newporter who was a few yrs. behind you but was the mailman in the old Fifth Ward for a few yrs and worked right alongside your Uncle Jimmy OB

He always used to brag about his nephew the rock star but as I mentioned in my note to the Aol address it's funny how in Newport it is your baseball that I always hear when your name comes up....I thought you might get a kick out of that.  Joey Decotis says you were the toughest he faced!
Anyway, I know you are busy working on your comeback and I hope all goes well.  I stumbled on some Nazz stuff on Google and eventually got linked to your site and wanted to throw in my two cents.
                                               Sincerely,
                                           Charlie Burns
PS  The old house on Eastnor Rd. is still there but the neighborhood is mostly newcomers....the Martins still live on the corner but the Uperti's are gone...the Johnson's from Atlantic are scattered (mr. johnson passed away this past yr.)  The Kirwin's are around still...
    Oh well...enough chit chat.
PPS  I did grab the CD with the extra CD of memorabilia....just to see what all the fuss is about!!

Stewkey looks great, so HIP!  I wonder if you could post on the website
what the rest of the band (Nazz) are doing these days!  Peace
Michele K

I heard great things about the North Star gig. My friend sent me a list of the songs played-unbelievable to hear these songs live with THE singer of them. Looking forward to Maxwell's. Rock on Stewkey, you've been missed, Don Adler, Hoboken, NJ

Hi,I see Maxwell's has you booked for February 13. That'll be great-have you contacted Pollstar yet? That's a great website for letting concertgoers worldwide know of gigs. Looking forward, Don Adler

 Why not?

There are zillions of Todd/Nazz fans who would love to hear you guys in Los Angeles.

It's a sure thing, you won't be sorry...

Tiffany

Nazz was the finest rock band this side of The Yardbirds and I can't wait to see the new version.  The songs are the finest and it's about time someone paid them tribute and who better?
Good luck Stewkey and co.  Please come to Chicago soon.
RC McWilliams

Whatever happened to Carson (last I heard was that he was an executive at Disney) and Thom (truly one of the great underrated drummers in rock)? That Nazz foursome made some magical sounds, and I loved your keyboard playing-you don't play any more? Sorry for peppering you here, but your return is almost too good to be true, Don

Stewkey: I'm looking forward to seeing you at The North Star. Are the Nazz
Cds that are available legitimate, as in you are receiving royalities, and
do you have Cds of your band available at your shows? Thanks, Mike W

Sincere "Best Wishes" to the Entire Group!  Hope to catch you guy's in the near future.

Sam Picariello

Some thoughts from Moogy

After seeing the Nazz at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ, last week (February 13, 2004), my mind was blown by their tight sound and rockin' rhythm. They did an almost entirely old time Nazz set, with Roy Goldberg and Otto Capobianco on twin lead guitars that really rocked!

The set list went something like this:

Under The Ice
Kicks
Forget All About It Awhile
Kiddie Boy
Medley:
Victoria (instrumental by Roy Goldberg with extended solo by Otto Capobianco)
When I Get My Plane
Open My Eyes
Wildwood Blues
Hello It's Me
She's Goin' Down
Letter Don't Count

For fans of the old Nazz records, this was "Nazz Heaven," and lead singer Stewkey was in rare form, looking totally cool in his always-natty Carnaby street attire and stalking the stage like a true rock star. The Stewk is back and the Nazz got 'em!! So I invited the Nazz to open my show on March 14th.

Stewkey, Don Adler here. Just want to thank you for playing 'Letters..' and
doing a kick-ass job with it. Thaks for the 'shout-out'- I waved at you, but I
could tell the lights were probably in your eyes, and I didn't want to shout
back..Really enjoyed the show tremendously. The band supports you well; they
have really done an amazing job at re-creating these songs, which I am guessing
were rarely played live, especially those killer tracks from Nazz Nazz,
especially, 'Forget all about it', which was nailed. I look forward to more
shows-keep doing it, and we'll be there. If you find yourself back up this way, still
would buy you a drink, or 2. Again, thanks, Don

Hi Stewkey....:-)

I have a good friend who owns a record store in Levittown, Pa...(Mitch Barth, Positively Records...........he's always been a big supporter of the old Nazz and Mitch carries your newer work too). Mitch recently mentioned to me that you were out and about again with a band.  I found out a few days too late that you just played in Philly and I heard it was a great show.

I was advised to check out your website and was tickled to find the MP3's....and videos of recent performances at the Siberia Club.

You look like you're really enjoying yourself out there, the band is great...(that lead guitarist is awesome)..all the guitar work is very good........the harmonies are truly reminiscent of the Nazz of the 60's.  'Would be great to hear "Hello It's Me" on the website someday. Nobody ever sang that as well as the original singer (that be you).......

Anyway, I'm really glad to see you're doing so well, Stewkey, and involved so heavily with the music once again.

You sure are kickin' some butt!

Will Stwewkey's Nazz ever by near Columbus, Ohio? Please keep it in the BACK OF YOUR MIND.
Greg
